Last week was the first official week of the new year. It was during this week that I started a brand new series in order to get us started off on the right foot. At the beginning of every year, there are people who are eager to come up with New Year’s resolutions. When I was a young adult, I was eager to do the same. Now that I am older, I prefer to have a word of the year, or better yet, some life goals. These goals may be professional, emotional, mental, spiritual, physical, etc. The main point for me is that I am purposely moving forward and growing.
One of the most popular areas that we have resolutions/life goals in is that of having healthier, fit bodies. Achieving this goals takes work, grit, determination, motivation, and consistency.
